April 2008
NRBC 2008
We had a great show and an even better time this year
at the NRBC in Katy, Texas. Although Spence Bell and
Sue had tough luck in the Classic Go Round and didn't
make it back to the finals they both did a great job
and are looking forward to making up for it at the
Derby.
Congatulations to Julie Vosberg showing her new mare
Magnifichic to a 6th Place finish in the Limited Non
Pro Class as well as 3rd in the AQHA Ameteur Select
Class. These two haven't had a whole lot of time
together in the saddle, but proved by the end of the
show that they are going to make a great team in the
future.
The same goes for Kerry Newell who placed 2nd in the
Intermediate Non Pro Class and 5th in the Non Pro as
well as 4th in the Open Junior Reining.Kerry and
Hailstorm Jaci won over $820.00 at the NRBC and are
primed to do some damage at the Derby in June.
And finally thank you very much to Deb Waskowiak for
trusting me to show your new show mare Vintage Badger
Dunit. We placed 5th in the Classic Limited Open
Finals and walked away with over $4,000.00. I only
wish you could have been there.
Febuary 2008
Oklahoma Ride and Slide
Although it was VERY cold at times , we had a great show in Tulsa this year. Sue showed both Custom Showtime and Vintage Badger Dunit, tying herself to win the Limited Open Derby Championship. (The tough part is deciding who gets which half of the Morrison bronze!)
Dave showed KMZ Smart Starlight placing 3rd in the Intermediate Open class and 4th in the Novice Horse. She is really turning into a great little show horse.
...And Congratulations to Kory Rozell on surviving his first NRHA show and more importantly for STAYING ON PATTERN! (one step at a time man)
January 2008
Congratulations to Grady Kimbrell on his purchase of
Jacs Shing Fancy. Good luck with this outstanding
broodmare.
We would also like to announce that Sue has
finally decided that she likes me (Dave) enough to
marry me! On Christmas day 2007 I asked her on the
edge of a very high cliff in Kodiak, Alaska and she
said "Yes". (Good thing she did too because if she'd
said "no" one of us was going off that cliff!)
We of course don't like to rush into anything so we
have decided that the ceremony will not take place
until January 2009. I hear weddings are expensive so
please visit our Sales page and pick something out you
like! :)
